I'm Jeanie Copland and have travelled extensively in many parts of the world, including Asia, Australasia, North America and, more recently, parts of Africa and S. America.

A music teacher by profession, I now supply teach in the south west of England. My main hobbies are travel and mountain walking, having trekked in the mountains of Nepal, northern India, China, New Zealand etc.

I work as a volunteer leader for Ramblers Holidays - leading in many mountainous parts of Spain, Iceland, Morroco - often at short notice. Having spent two years VSO-ing in northern India, now work as a voluntary selector for VSO, which usually coincides with Globetrotter meetings in London.

Incidentally, I have two daughters and five grand-children and, as half of my family lives in Australia, am frenquently a visiting pom!
