While venturing off on our travels from merry old England, we San Francisco and Los Angeles in California before header out over the desert to lucious Las Vegas. What a site to behold as we cross the rugged lands for an eternity and the mirage of Las Vegas appeared on the horizon.

We hit the "strip" and smiled with glee at the many wonderous hotels and sites. We checked into the Riviera comfortably and enjoyed the evening watching the milk skin dancers in SPLASH the show. The show was awseome and much recommended, but nothing compared to the nature show we were in for the following day.

Back home we had surfed the web and found just what we wished for in a tour to the Grand Canyon.

Http://www.Looktours.com saved us a pretty penny and whisked us off on a delighful flight to the Grand Canyon National Park.

Well, I like most, never looked at the weather forecast and when it's 90' degrees in Las Vegas one thinks it may be similar close by.

I was wrong.

We flew out to the Grand Canyon and and hit a snow storm. It was amazing.

We huddled up and bought a sweatshirt, but the storm passed quickly to leave a sprinkling of snow over the whole canyon.

What a sight!

I consider us lucky as we could never have planned it that way and it made for some of the best photos I've ever taken.

So next time you visit Vegas. Be sure to look out for trips to the Grand Canyon. Well worth it !
