Holidaying in Rome? No doubt you will be lured by its romance - fine scultpure, history steeped architecture, enchanting fountains, dazzling designer wear, and above all a spirit of endurance. Italian cusine is the icing on the cake ofcourse - I gorged on Pizza and Pasta. In two days though I was missing the 'curry', and although I'm Indian, I would guess a lot of visitors from Britan and curry-afficionados may feel the same way too. If yes, a visit to Cavour ( just one stop away from Termini Station on the Metro) has just what your taste buds need - Les ristorantes Indienne a Italy!!! I tried two of them - the ornately decorated Maharajah's where a glass of Champagne on the house welcomes you, and whose Tandoori Prawns and Malai Kofta can give the curry-houses anywhere in the world a run for the money, and the more sedate Guru, which is more pocket friendly. There are many more to sample - Sitar, Mother India ,(in Cavour), Jaipur and Little India in other parts of the city. Well... love your lasagne but missing your masala? You know where to head for in Rome.
