Sitting in a packed carriage on the Dockland's Light railway with the sun glinting down as the train winds its way through some of the most interesting modern buildings in London, seems to me, to be the way to arrive for theITW show.

The Globetrotters StandThis is the best show for Globetrotter members and it was good to see Dick Curtis's Globetrotters stand, in the main hall. ITW is in its second year at the London Arena and it is becoming better organised as each year passes.

All the usual suspects! Where on hand to help or cajole you into going on some amazing trip or other; plus talks and slide shows on nearly every place you could care to visit.

Many of our club members give hours of their time, helping answer questions about the different parts of the not so known world and I heard people offering their thanks and appreciation. The crowds were as usual around the stands of Wanderlust and Nomad, this year with the added bonus of getting any necessary jabs from the Nomad medical tent.

An absailing climber at the showITW is one of the better travel exhibitions and has something to suit most people interested in travel or travel information. This year the show will be visiting London and Edinburgh, therefore giving a chance for our members outside London to share our enjoyment.
